Welcome to the final days of April 2025. May arrives on Thursday and will be full of fun and purposeful activities for Post 7012.
This week:
🎶 Tuesday, April 29th: Jessie’s “Easy Listening Jam Session” from 7-9:00 in the Blades Dining Room. Open to all musicians, singers and fans of live music to experience and perform various styles and playlists.
🪕 Wednesday, April 23rd: Bluegrass Jam Session 7-9:00 in the Blades Dining Room. All are welcome to relax and enjoy the sounds of Bluegrass while visiting the Canteen .
🌸 Saturday, May 3rd: Flower Sale from 9-3:00 (see attached flyer for locations) and Derby de Mayo Chili Cookoff at 5:00. Join us for this annual night of friendly competition and festivities for Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo. Plan to enter the chili cookoff, cheer for your favorite horse, and play some games. We have a fun night planned.

🎟️ Sunday, May 11th: Mother’s Day and the Early Bird Drawing for 130 Ticket Holders

🖍️Tuesday, May 20th: Deadline for Auxiliary-sponsored Patriotic coloring contest (see attached flyer for details)
🪖Thursday, May 22nd: Regular Members/Combat Veterans Meeting at 7:00
🚗 Friday, May 23rd: Auxiliary Members at the 83 Rest Area. Auxiliary Members will be stationed at the 83 Rest Area to greet travelers and provide refreshments. Interstate 83 is designated as the “Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Memorial Highway” in all of Pennsylvania, and we are proud to have the Auxiliary representing Post 7012 at the first northbound Rest Area.
💰Saturday, May 24th: Cash Bingo at 7:00
Our newly renovated hall is available to rent for members and non-members. Plan your next family reunion, birthday party, event, or holiday gathering with us. Referrals and recommendations are appreciated, and all are welcome to stop by during business hours to take a look.
