We hope everyone had a peaceful and pleasant Easter weekend and is ready for another week of fun and friendship at Post 7012. The Post is closed today but here is a list of the weeks events and more.
🎶 Tuesday, April 22nd: Starting this week Jessie would like to host an “Easy Listening Jam Session” from 7-9:00 in the Blades Dining Room. Open to all musicians, singers and fans of live music to experience and perform various styles and playlists.
🪕 Wednesday, April 23rd: Bluegrass Jam Session 7-9:00 in the Blades Dining Room. All are welcome to relax and enjoy the sounds of Bluegrass while visiting the Canteen .
🪖Thursday, April 24th: Regular Members/Combat Veterans Meeting at 7:00. All Regular Members (Combat Vets) are encouraged to attend to receive important information and updates, and to aid in voting and making decisions for matters related to Post 7012.
🚎 Saturday, April 26th: Honor Bus trip (see attached flyer for information)
💰 also Saturday: Cash Bingo at 7:00. Bring your friends and family to play. 10 regular games and one special game. Cards are $1 each or 30 for $25 for the regular games and $5/card for the Special Finale game. Come early for dinner and drinks- no one likes to win on an empty stomach. Seats fill quickly, reserve a table for your group by calling or texting 717.880.5998

🌸 Saturday, May 3rd: Flower Sale from 9-3:00 (see attached flyer for locations) and Derby de Mayo Chili Cookoff at 5:00. Join us for this annual night of friendly competition and festivities for Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo. Plan to enter the chili cookoff, cheer for your favorite horse, and play some games. We have a fun night planned.

🧱Building update teaser: Stay tuned for the announcement of our Ground Breaking…the date will be confirmed later this week. As we anticipate the construction of our future location, don’t miss out on being a part of it….The commemorative brick sale is still in progress. Order a brick in honor or memory of a Veteran OR one that shows your support as a business or family/friend of VFW Post 7012. See the attached flyer for details on ordering/purchasing and the accompanying picture to see what brick placement plans are for our future location. The “Patriot Garden” section will honor military service members and be designed to bloom throughout the growing season with predominantly red, white, and blue flowers.
