Goodbye January, Hello February! We transition to a new month this week and invite you to come along on the 2024 journey of Post 7012. The post is closed today but here is a list or reminders, announcements and opportunities to be involved.
This week:
🇺🇸 Wednesday, January 31st…Movie Night featuring “Where Eagles Dare” starring Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton. The film follows a Special Ops team of men attempting to save a captured American General.
🇺🇸 Thursday, February 1st… Bluegrass Jam Session with Jessie and Friends in the Blades Dining Room. This is a weekly event available to acoustic musicians, singers, and fans of live music.
🇺🇸 Friday Dinner Feature: Chef Eric’s Blackened catfish, collard greens and cornbread.

Fundraising campaigns currently in progress:
🧱 Commemorative Bricks: This fundraiser is ongoing and bricks are available to honor Veterans and non-veterans alike. Order yours to be placed in the Veteran “Memorial and Honor Garden” or in the “Sponsor and Support” section of Post 7012. Both will be permanent and proud displays. Order forms are available in the canteen or at the QR code in the attached document.
🚴 5000 Miles Away, a journey to Veterans Day- support our building fund by Sponsoring or Donating to Chrissie’s bicycling challenge to ride 5000 miles by Veterans Day. We will be featuring Veterans and their military bios along the way and selling logo items-tshirts, magnets, etc, to help advertise and recruit community involvement in making Post 7012 the heart of New Freedom.
