The first week of July was a busy one with the carnival, holiday, fireworks and a parade in New Freedom. But the fun isn’t over yet… we still have bingo, karaoke and trivia this month at Post 7012.
The Post is closed today, but here is a quick list of what is happening in July, plus some reminders:
🪕7.10 Wednesday…Bluegrass Jam Session with Jessie and Friends in the Blades Dining Room from 6-9:00. Come strum, sing or sip along to this weekly and free event for musicians and fans alike.
🇺🇸7.11 Thursday… Home Association Meeting at 7:00. This monthly meeting is open to all 3 categories of membership (Regular, Auxiliary and Social) to help you stay informed, and have input, on matters related to Post 7012.
💰7.13 Saturday… Cash Bingo at 7:00. Join us for a night of cash bingo and win some $ for your summer vacation. Cards are $1 each or 30 for $25 with a $5/card Blackout game to finish.
🎤7.19 Friday…Karaoke Night. Come out to unleash your inner Rock Star or Serenade your Sweetheart. The fun starts at 7:00
❓7.20 Saturday… Trivia and Tunes with Tommy. Join us solo or as a team when Tommy tests your knowledge and entertains with silliness and song. Prize awarded to the 1st place finisher.
🇺🇸7.25 Thursday… Regular Members Meeting at 7:00. This monthly meeting is for our Regular Members/Combat Veterans. All Regular Members are encouraged to attend to aid in decision making and voting on matters related to Post 7012.
💰7.27 Saturday… our 2nd Cash Bingo of July at 7:00
Reminder: our commemorative brick sale is ongoing and bricks are available for purchase to be placed at our future location. Order a brick in honor or memory of someone who served, or one that shows your support as a business or family/friend of VFW Post 7012. See the attached rendering of the proposed Memorial/Honor Brick Display and the order form for your bricks.
We plan to have a unit patch collection worked into the decor of our future location and are accepting patches now. Drop off unit patches to be displayed at the canteen.
Our Sunday kitchen is back and will be happy to serve you from 4-7:00.
