It’s time for June’s first edition of the Monday Newsletter. This month will be buzzing with activity for Post 7012…so mark your calendar with these events, opportunities and information.
Beginning with this week:
🇺🇸Tuesday, the 4th: Auxiliary Members Meeting at 7:00
🪕Wednesday, the 5th: Bluegrass Jam Session with Jessie and Friends from 6-9:00 in the Blades Dining Room. This weekly free event is open to acoustic musicians, singers and fans of live music.
💰Saturday, the 8th: our first Cash Bingo of the month. Cards are $1 each or 30 for $25. Join us and win some $ for your summer vacation.
The remainder of June:
🇺🇸Thursday, the 13th: Home Association Meeting at 7:00. This monthly meeting is open to all 3 categories of membership and provides the opportunity to become informed, involved and have input on all that is happening at Post 7012.
☀️Friday, the 21st: we will be celebrating the First Full Day of Summer… plan to join us for a celebration of summer (details coming soon)
💰Saturday, the 22nd: We’re doubling your winning potential by offering a 2nd Cash Bingo each month… Bring your friends, neighbors, and family to drive the jackpot even higher.
🇺🇸Thursday, the 27th: Regular Members/Combat Veterans Meeting at 7:00
❓Saturday, the 29th: Trivia and Tunes with Tommy at 7:00
🎨Sunday, the 30th: Paint and Sip Fundraiser. Sign up for this Patriotic Painting Class so you can proudly display your creation on The 4th of July. Register and pay in the Canteen or CALL/TEXT GINNIE 717-472-2141.
Other things we want you to be aware of:
🧱The commemorative brick sale for our future location is still in progress. Order a brick in honor or memory of a Veteran OR sponsor one to show support personally or from a business. See the attached flyer for details on ordering/purchasing and the accompanying picture to see what brick placement plans are for our future location. The “Patriot Garden” section will honor military service members and be designed to bloom throughout the growing season with predominantly red, white, and blue flowers.
💰The 130 Dinner and Raffles planned for June 9th is postponed but will restart as soon as our small games of chance license is approved. Previous participants will have 1st dibs on the same ticket numbers and will be notified when ticket sales begin again. If you have not been involved with the 130 program and would like to add your name to the waitlist, please contact Janet Locher or see the Canteen Staff.
