Welcome to the last full week of June…already. There will be a lot going on in our little corner of the county in the next 2 weeks… we hope to see you both out and about town AND in the canteen. Post 7012 is closed today, but here is a list of where you can find us in the community, and what you will find when visiting the canteen.

Monday, June 23: Shrewsbury Fireman’s Carnival begins and runs through Saturday.

Tuesday, June 24th: come for Taco Tuesday, stay for an Easy Listening Jam Session with Jessie. She welcomes all musicians to join her in the Blades Dining Room 7-9:00.

Thursday, June 26th: Regular Members/ Combat Veterans Meeting at 7:00 (no Line Dancing this week due to the meeting, it will resume next week)

Saturday, June 28th: Shrewsbury Parade at 3:30. Look for Post 7012 Veterans and Members in the parade

Also Saturday: Cash Bingo upstairs at 7:00. Doors open to the Bingo Hall at 5:00

Sunday, June 29th: 130 Raffle and Dinner Event at 1:30 for ticket holders.

Thursday, July 3rd: All Ages Line Dancing with Kyrsten resumes in the Upstairs Dance Hall

Monday, June 30-Saturday, July 5th: New Freedom Lions Club Carnival. Look for us in the parade Saturday and plan to join everyone back at the canteen afterwards.

If you ordered a VFW Post 7012 jacket it is available for pick up in the Canteen.

We’re only one month away from groundbreaking at our future location. Plan to join us for this event and celebration.
