Here is your first Monday Newsletter of November…the month we honor Veterans and Give Thanks. Post 7012 is closed today but here’s a peek at what we have coming up…
Tuesday, November 5th… Election Day and Auxiliary Members Meeting at 7:00. ALL members are encouraged to exercise your right to vote, and ALL Auxiliary Members of Post 7012 are encouraged to attend the monthly meeting at 7:00. We’re headed into the season of giving and this is when our Auxiliary shines most by planning and participating in events to benefit Veterans, their families and the New Freedom community.
Wednesday, November 6th… Acoustic Jam Session with Jessie and Friends from 6:30-9:00. This weekly and free event takes place in the Blades Dining Room and is open to all acoustic musicians, singers and fans of live music (non-members will be signed in as Jessie’s guests)
Thursday, November 7th… Veterans Dinner at the New Freedom Community Center (see attached flyer for details)
Friday, November 8th… Chef Hadlye’s Friday Feature (stay tuned for details)
Saturday, November 9th… It’s all about BINGO. There will be 2 opportunities to win cash. In the morning: join us in the canteen for Breakfast and Bingo. Breakfast Buffet begins at 9:00, Bingo at 10:00. In the evening: join us again for Chef John’s Dinner beginning at 4:00 (stay tuned for details) and Bingo at 7:00.
Sunday, November 10th…Bicycle and Brunch… The end of Chrissie’s 5000 mile challenge will take place that morning and we invite you to celebrate with her. She will be embarking on the final 10 miles of her journey at 9:30 a.m. and returning to the Canteen for a Celebratory Brunch and Bloody Mary by 11:00.
