Groundbreaking day is quickly approaching and Post 7012 will have a busy week of food, fun and festivities beginning today with Taco Tuesday. The canteen opens at 3:00 for Summer Sipping. Refresh with a Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy bottle or a Golden Road Mango Cart on Draft. At 4:00 the Taco Factory begins production. Order yours in beef, chicken, shrimp or steak.. or order another favorite from our updated menu. Stay for some entertainment in the form of Easy listening Jam Session with Jessie in the Blades Dining Room or to watch the O’s at 6:40…we’ll have our Nathan’s Jumbo Dog and an Orange Crush combo available for $8.

Join us in celebrating this milestone in New Freedom VFW Post 7012’s journey… arrive early for refreshment provided by Gillice Italian Ice & Ice Cream and Daddy Mac Food Truck . Parking is limited at the construction site but our friends at Landmark Lumber (335 N Constituion Ave) have offered use of their parking area during the ceremony. Rose Fire Company #1 will be directing traffic and providing a crossing guard. Shuttle service from the parking lot to the construction site will also be available. At the conclusion of the Groundbreaking Ceremony, everyone is invited to a reception in the Upstairs Hall of our current location… featuring champagne and Freedom Brew American Lager Additional refreshment provided by our generous members.
