Some call it “Thursday,” we call it “weekend eve”

Thirsty Thursday kicks off a busy 4 days of activity at Post 7012’s canteen. Today is our shrimp day (1/2 pound steamed or a Butterfly Basket with fries or tots for $9) Also happening tonight at 7:00… the Home Association meeting for all categories of membership. Plan to attend in the Blades Dining room due to renovations currently underway in the upstairs hall. The Thursday night Bluegrass Jam session with Jessie and Friends will resume next week.

Tomorrow Chef Eric’s Friday Feature will be Pork Chops with Apple Brandy Cream, Mashed Potatoes and Bavarian Kraut.

Saturday is Cash Bingo… doors open at 3:00, the kitchen begins serving our Bingo Menu at 4:00 and games begin at 7:00….Chili Dogs, Beef or Chicken Empanadas, Meatball Subs, Buffalo Chicken Flatbread, Cheesesteak Egg rolls and more.

Sunday is the final football game and first potluck event of the year…Super Bowl. Doors open at 3:00, the game starts at 6:30. Bring a dish to share and your best cheer-wear.
