Saturday, August 8th 🇺🇸

Tonight, after 80 years of memories, friendship, service and fellowship, the doors of VFW Post 7012 at 123 W. Main Street in New Freedom will close for the last time. ❤️🇺🇸

As we enter this final day of operation, it seems several pieces of our kitchen equipment have prematurely submitted their resignation as an act of rebellion to their forced retirement tomorrow. As a result, Chef Jim will be working with a LIMITED MENU while he attempts to create meals with whatever kitchen equipment is still willing to clock in. 👨‍🍳

Consider it less of a “limited menu” and more of a culinary survival challenge: W. Main Street Edition. 😂

The good news?

Our new home at 345 N. Constitution Avenue is waiting with a kitchen full of beautiful, modern equipment…Until then, we’ll keep cooking with what still works, laughing at what doesn’t, and squeezing every last memory we can out of this old building.

Doors open at 3:00 today. Stop by for one last toast to the place where it all started and the memories made there. Join us at 7:00 for Cash Bingo.

This last day isn’t the end of Post 7012, it’s just the last square on this bingo card before we begin filling a brand-new one at 345 N. Constitution Avenue. 🏡🇺🇸
