Grand Opening R.E.D. Friday🇺🇸

Fridays at VFW Post 7012 have given us a reason to pause, wear red, and remember the brave men and women serving far from home… and this R.E.D. Friday marks something extra special.

🎉 TODAY IS GRAND OPENING DAY! 🎉

There is something especially fitting about beginning this new chapter on a R.E.D. Friday. This beautiful new home may have fresh walls, new equipment and a new address, but the heart of Post 7012 remains exactly where it has always been: service, remembrance, fellowship and our commitment to veterans.

Today we celebrate everyone who helped carry Post 7012 from 123 W. Main Street to 345 N. Constitution Avenue. The members who dreamed. The volunteers who worked. The community that supported us. And the generations before us who built the foundation we continue to stand upon.

Most importantly, even on a day filled with celebration, we remember those who cannot be here because they are serving our nation somewhere far from home. ❤️

Thank you for your patience during these past 2 weeks, and in going forward as we get acquainted with our surroundings and apply the finishing touches. We could have waited until every last detail was perfect, but home doesn’t become home because everything is finished… it becomes home when you open the doors and fill it with people. ❤️

So wear your RED, bring your Post 7012 pride, and join us as we cut the ribbon on the next chapter.
